Ask the MoB Where the heck can I get one (or two) of these kegs that most self-respecting homebrewers seem to have.

Many imported kegs get recycled or just thrown out, instead of refilled, so ask a bar that has imports what they do with theirs. They are only 50 litres vs the 58 litre size of the 15.5 gallon kegs.

Also check local scrap yards.

BTW, I should also point out Sabco. You can buy an already converted keg from them for 99 USD, which IMO is a good deal. Click Here for details.

You should also call any microbreweries in your area. They are an excellent source for these kegs as they get the odd one returned in bad condition. Bad condition for them to re-use but, perfect condition (and price) to convert into a kettle!
