I live in the Ottawa valley and have been extract brewing for about 7 years now, on and off. I've brewed a whole range of styles, but my favorite are ales, especially Scottish. When I'm feeling energetic I'll do a full extract boil, but I'll also do a Brew House kit if I'm feeling lazy. I love the flexibility that I have to create different styles and flavours, and the fact that I can do it at a reasonable cost.
