It's that time of year again - Big Strange Brew 7 is just around the corner! This is an annual event where brewers get together with their equipment "to brew a crazy amount of beer". Non-brewers are invited to come out and see what all-grain brewing is all about. We still do not have all the plans finalised for this year, but typically it goes like this ...
We start at 10am, rain or shine. The BBQ is going all day long, so BYOF - bring your own food. Don't worry, we've got the beer covered - there are typically a good 20 kegs of excellent craft-brewed beer on tap. There is sometimes a smoker going, and usually we deep-fry a turkey around supper time. We wind-up the evening with a bonfire. Bring a tent if you don't want to worry about the drive home after all those great beers.
