I have heard those stories about tax paying good citizens moving to Ottawa AND being seduced by the taxpayers dole into a life of lesure and high fat diets...and to top it off instead of reinvesting in our Canada, sucumb to the evil
of tax free home brew and other liberal persuits
Learning how to be bilingual doesnt make good beer, however with the federal governments resourses behind you maybe you can give me a couple of tips...lol

Where the heck can I get one (or two) of these kegs that most self-respecting homebrewers seem to have.

Hey you guys and gals,
I would like to invite MOB to enter the Calgary Open Homebrew Competition to be judged on the Summer Solstice (June 21). It's BJCP and in honor of the solstice, we are having a special fun class for non-advancers to the BOS round. It's called the "best lawnmower beer" and this is redefined as the most tasty beer to NOT advance to the finals.
For more information, please contact me at timoborn@shaw.ca
Thanks and hope to taste your beer!

Hello to you MoBsters!
There is this strange Kolsch brewing guy (who will remain anonymous), on another (undisclosed) web site, who gave a rave review about this Sergeant Major IPA.
"All I can say is WOW!" "Mmmmmmmm ... I just had to restate that "wow". I've been enjoying this for almost a week now and loving every drop." Is how he put it.
Since i do not have access to this beer here in the Pacific Northwest, nor do i have the skill to clone anything -- naturally, i asked this veteran brewer for his thoughts about a clone, for this rave brew.
"It is beyond my abilities since as mentioned I'm not a big beer guy." "Ask on our club site"
So here i am, hat in hand and asking. Anyone want to take a shot at this?
regards/greg (PS: j/k A.M ;o)

The MoB was well represented at the March in Montreal, and even managed to take home a few medals!
MoBsters who made it out to this fantastic event were (in no particular order):
Kevin Sinn, Drew Avis, Alan McKay, Patrick Brochu, John Edwards, Johnathan Westphal, Daniel Chisolm, Pat Devaney, and Todd Skinner. Other "honorary" MoBsters (or at least list subscribers) included Kel Rekuta, John Misrahi, and Denis Barsalo.

Well gang it all began when another homebrewer said "Well at MY bar I got this ...". Well that's all it took, long story short I built one of my own and gee what a humm dinger it is. I'd love to ramble on and on but I got a question. It's almost finished and I have one last obstical to overcome. Balancing! How bout it gang, who feels comfortable enough to give me the easy way to do this job. Please not the trial and error method. My brother in law is coming in from Germany and I want to wow him and his wife with this. I got a snappy new hefe weisen clone just beggin for the tap! I have at the moment ten foot of 3/16" beer line to work with. A distance of four foot from center of keg to the tap and a 15lb. tank full of C02. I also will be despencing some reg. mainstream stuff like reddog or some swill like that. You know, some folks. So, who can tell me how to balance this thing? I sure hope you guys can help. Thanks in advance.
Steve

Does anyone know what parts are needed for making a thermothingy for a 15.5 gal. stainless steel keg? I don't need one for a cooler, as I've already seen the page here for it. I need to make one for a keg. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, Herb G.
